‘‘Working with Zach and Annie throughout my relocation process has been such a wonderful experience. They are incredibly knowledgeable, not only about the big things like housing and logistics but also about the small details and unexpected questions that come up along the way. They answered every question I had, offered to go on apartment viewings for me, and met with me on Zoom to go over all of my concerns. Both Zach and Annie are so friendly, positive, and genuinely funny. It is a joy to work with them. I felt truly taken care of and reassured knowing I had someone on the ground in Scotland supporting me through the process. Their guidance eased so much of my anxiety and made a potentially stressful move feel smooth and manageable. I could not recommend them enough, and I cannot emphasize how important it is to have support rather than go through this process alone.’’

"My wife and I are planning a move to Scotland and we were so excited when we found Annie and Zach's Simple Scottish Living videos on YouTube. There is so much to do to prepare you for the move and so much of it can be confusing. We find their videos to be so informative and fun to watch! We sit and take notes as we watch many of them. But then, at the end of one video they mentioned they have a relocation service. So we went to their website and booked a 45 minute zoom meeting. To prepare for the meeting we worked up a list of questions and then we scheduled the meeting. It was so wonderful, all our questions were answered in a fun and informative way. (They truly are as nice as they seem in their videos!) We even got a follow-up email with websites and information that was so helpful. We plan on having several more zoom meetings as our move approaches. If you are considering a move to Scotland we highly recommend gathering as much knowledge as you can and a resource like Annie and Zach are a wonderful way to learn the ins and outs of a Scottish move!"

“We really appreciated the time Zach and Annie took to speak with us. The information they provided about the relocation process was extremely helpful and gave us a much better understanding of the realities of moving to Scotland. They were both very generous with their advice.”

"Five stars for Zach and Annie! Julia and I recently had a relocation consultation with them via WhatsApp, and we cannot recommend them enough. From the moment our meeting started, they were incredibly professional, kind, and genuinely humorous. Moving across the world is incredibly stressful, but their warm personalities put us at ease right away. They took plenty of time with us and made sure every single one of our questions was completely answered. While we had already done a lot of initial research on our own, Zach and Annie brought up critical areas we had not even considered. They also gave us total peace of mind on several things we were feeling very anxious about. To make things even better, they sent us a detailed follow-up email packed with additional helpful information and direct links to make our transition to the UK as smooth as possible. If you are planning a move, do yourself a favor and book a session....or two....or more with them. They are great to work with"

"Long before we spoke to Zach and Annie, we were watching their videos. What kept us coming back was the honesty: the things that went well, the things that did not, and the lessons learned along the way. Moving your family across an ocean is a decision made mostly in the dark, and their willingness to share the real experience meant we went into ours with our eyes open and, somehow, still excited. The whisky tastings did not hurt either. They made us laugh at a time when we badly needed to. Then we actually met them, and they were even better in person. The call was warm and unhurried, and the follow-up email that arrived the next morning was a survival kit: how to open a UK bank account from abroad, how to move money before you can, where to compare insurance, how to find a GP through NHS Inform and get ahead of prescriptions, shipping companies worth a look, and the Transfer of Residence relief form we would never have known to apply for. They even went out and asked around about local schools on our behalf. What mattered most, though, was less practical than any of that. From the first conversation onward we always felt we had a lifeline in Scotland to reach out to. People who shared our values, our love of Scotland, and our belief that the effort to arrive here was worth a life here. That feeling carried us through the house hunt, the sale, the packing and the deciding, and the last frantic weeks before we flew. A month from now we move into our home in Strathpeffer. We did not decide to land there because of them, but we did feel inspired by how they have chosen to live as a family. Living in natural beauty, investing in the community they live in, and celebrating the culture and the people in that community. That is the life we wanted, and watching them build it made us braver about building our own. If you are weighing up a move to Scotland, you could not be in better hands."

Like most people we “met” Zach and Annie through their wonderful YouTube channel. It was at a time when we had just purchased a home in The Highlands. When they made the offer for their viewers to have a consultation concerning a move to Scotland we set up a call with them. They were gracious and helpful with us in answering several questions we had. We have since kept in touch to discuss issues that have come up. We highly recommend this service they provide and like us we recommend you to subscribe to their fun and interesting channel. You can even become a 'Buy Me a Coffee' supporter to help them afford the time and effort they put in to each presentation.
